Paxata has a strong presence at many industry events, often as a platinum-level sponsor at big data tradeshows. There’s a fine balance to achieve in making a booth’s visuals work from a distance (as you walk into the tradeshow floor), at midrange (down an aisle), and up close (as you stand inside the booth). When you start with needing to express complex ideas and trying to whittle-down to the essentials, it can be a daunting endeavor.

Three Years and 14 Shows Later
The idea of nodes of connectivity was a theme developed at the first show and carried out through each subsequent show. The booth designs had instant brand recognition as well as being tailored to the types of audience they expected to meet at each event. In addition to this large format art, I led a team through video development for their booth monitors, whitepapers and datasheets, as well as business cards for the indispensable salesperson contacts.
